Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Capital City Fire Rescue put out some shipping containers found on fire Monday night at the end of Valley Boulevard.
Firemen said this is the second fire at the gravel pit in recent weeks.
Monday's call came in around 6:30 pm. Upon arrival, fire personnel said they found two shipping containers on fire. They extinguished the fire quickly.
The damage was estimated at $6,000.
Firemen said a recent fire there caused about $3,000 in damage.
CCFR said the fires appeared to be intentionally set.
