
Kasilof, Alaska (KINY) - Sgt. Robert Hunter was identified as the Trooper that shot and killed Justin Leman, 32, on January 29.
Sgt. Hunter is a 20-year veteran of Alaska State Troopers.
He is a member of the Soldotna Patrol Detachment.
Leman was shot after a domestic disturbance and foot chase. Troopers said Leman produced a gun and pointed it at the officer.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The case will be reviewed by the Office of Special Prosecutions once the investigation is complete.
