Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - A grand jury indicted Cody Ryan Mathwig, 31, on multiple charges of theft Thursday.
Mathwig was convicted of attempted sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree in Sitka in 2007.
The indictment alleged Mathwig used a stolen credit card to purchase about $930 from two Ketchikan businesses in August 2019.
Court records show Mathwig had prior convictions for failure to register as a sex offender in 2018 and 2019, and a conviction for vehicle theft in the first degree in 2009.
