
Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - One new positive case of COVID-19 was identified in Ketchikan on Friday.
The individual was a resident traveler who tested negative on their arrival test, but then tested positive on the 14-day follow up test. The person is asymptomatic.
Free COVID-19 testing is available at the Berth 3 Drive-Up facility during the hours of 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 2:30-4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
Today’s case brings the cumulative COVID-19 case count, including travelers, to 82. The number of positive cases of individuals residing or staying in Ketchikan is 70.
Of the 70 cases, six are still active, and 64 have recovered.
