Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Police charged Timothy Carle, 34, with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree after they learned the suspect was shipping drugs to Angoon from Juneau via a local commuter airline.
Juneau Police said detectives received information that Carle had dropped off a package to be shipped to Angoon that contained drugs.
Officers were able to intercept the package and found a half a gram of heroin inside.
Carle entered a not guilty plea to the charges at his arraignment hearing.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on September 14 for a preliminary hearing.
