Palmer, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska State Troopers said alcohol and not wearing seatbelts contributed to the death of a child in a motor vehicle crash on Saturday.
Troopers said the five-year-old child died Sunday from injuries sustained in the crash on Old Glenn Highway and Smith Road.
Troopers said a single-vehicle flipped over pinning the child underneath.
Three adults and another child were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the crash continues.
