
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau continues to see an elevated number of COVID-19 cases than it experienced earlier in the summer. Twenty-nine new resident cases were reported for July 20 and 21 in Juneau.
Currently, there are 67 active cases of COVID-19 in town. Four out of the 16-person cluster associated with the American Constellation are still considered active cases.
The state reported 427 new cases and one death over the same two-day period. The report of the death of a female resident in her 70s of the Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area brings the state resident death count to 375 people.
