
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - 35 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Juneau from the state.
33 were residents and two were nonresidents.
A Juneau man in his 60s, who passed due to COVID in August, was reported today.
The total number of deaths associated with Juneau is currently 11.
There are currently 11 people with COVID-19 hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital.
The Juneau School District reports three new individuals who’ve tested positive for COVID. One at Juneau-Douglas High School, One at Harborview Elementary, One at Glacier Valley School, with one class quarantined as a result.
Statewide, 1,793 new people identified with COVID-19. 1,735 were residents and 58 were nonresidents.
The state reports 44 deaths that occurred from April to September, 41 were resident deaths and three were nonresident deaths.
This brings the total number of resident deaths to 514 and nonresident deaths to 18.
